Ubuntu, Auto Excel’s FAVORITE RELIABLE Operating System is releasing Version 8.10, aka “Hardy Heron” for free to download in just a little under 25 days. We are very excited. Auto Excel loves Linux.
The benefit of having Linux as an operating system is not only just reliability (no crashes or BS), but networking and security is easier for employees to generate leads, traffic, and its usability is amazing. Whilst only one PC contains a Linux OS currently (mine), I sure hope to get everyone else up and running and ditch or partially ditch a Windows operating system.
This also allows for some emulators like Wine, Crossover, and Cedega (not for games,some apps do work in Cedega though), for some of our Windows programs, preferably our CRM software and run correctly. Did that make sense?
Some dealerships have actually switched to Linux systems for their CRM, and inventory softwares. Good for them! Ubuntu is the way to go. Thanks Ubuntu!
